We believe that health & fitness start with the way kids are brought up, and through these classes we hope that kids will stay involved with exercise for the rest of their lives.


We also believe that its best for kids to be exposed to as many sports and ways of moving early on, so that they at a later stage have a good foundation.


During our classes the kids get to climb, jump, run, carry, play games, wrestle and much more.

Getting used to being suspended in air and getting from one place to another in sorts of new ways.

Climbing is a real workout but also lots of fun

Jumping on high things and finding ways to jump higher and further


It gets a bit scary sometimes but that's exactly why its so good, overcome your fears!

Carrying

Carrying weights around, it does not get more functional than that!


Awkard objects, heavy objects or maybe even a person. Carrying is a very safe way for kids to get strong and feel stable

Great fun for the kids if we incorporate balancing into obstacle courses. 

Balancing is incredibly important throughout life because not only does it make you feel safer, you run less of a risk of falling

Once kids have a clear goal they will work harder than you've ever seen before.

To keep the kids engaged whilst teaching them to work together we play plenty of games during our classes.


Not only does it teach them that losing is a part of life, now they can actually incorporate all the skills they've learned

Willem

Willem is the health & fitness coach of Eltham Martial Arts and helps run the dojo together with Kiley

He has completed three years of marine corps aspiring officer training and has studied four years of physical education.

Willem has done ten years of judo, six years of kickboxing and one year of Jiu-Jitsu.

His passions are reading, traveling, studying, coaching and living a healthy lifestyle.
